Brave New World – a poem

War in Ukraine,
nothing is the same.
The third world is starving,
Putin’s blade does more carving
his power lust craving,
how irrational he is behaving.
Body bags a plenty,
this man wants to destroy the world twenty
over, when will it be over?
The grain has to ship,
but he’ll shoot from the hip.
What will we eat? Clover?
What’s it to be a Russian nowadays?
A ruffian twice ways,
choking a country, destroying the world.
poking in other people’s business, secrets to be sold.
Cyberwarfare, annexations,
does it light a flare, where are you United Nations?
